Alor Feri Limited built Ping Tools Pro: Network Tools as a paid, no-ads network utility app. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.

Summary

Ping Tools Pro: Network Tools does not require you to create an account and we do not ask you to provide personal profile information such as your name, phone number, gender, or email address in order to use the app.

The app stores some information locally on your device so that features like ping history, favorites, saved monitors, recent hosts, and monitoring preferences can work properly. Ping Tools Pro: Network Tools does not display third-party ads and does not include Google AdMob advertising.

Information We Process

The app may process the following categories of information:

• Hosts, IP addresses, and domains that you enter for pinging, monitoring, DNS lookup, traceroute, or network testing.
• Ping history, saved monitors, favorites, recent hosts, and monitor settings stored locally on your device.
• Notification preferences and quiet-hours settings stored locally on your device.
• Basic diagnostic, crash, performance, or usage information generated by platform or analytics services, if enabled in the app.
• Domain names entered for DNS Lookup, which may be sent to a public DNS resolver to retrieve DNS records.
• Basic network information required for network utility features, such as local network scan, connectivity status, gateway information, latency, packet loss, or traceroute results.

How We Use Information

We use information only to provide, maintain, and improve app features, such as:

• Running ping, traceroute, DNS lookup, speed test, local network scan, and monitor operations that you start.
• Showing ping history, saved monitors, favorites, alerts, and dashboard summaries.
• Displaying notifications for monitoring alerts when you enable or allow them.
• Saving app preferences and settings locally on your device.
• Improving app reliability, performance, and user experience.

No Advertising

Ping Tools Pro: Network Tools is designed as a no-ads version of the app. It does not show banner ads, interstitial ads, app open ads, native ads, or other third-party advertising placements. The app does not use Google AdMob for advertising.

Google Play Purchase and Licensing

If you purchase or download Ping Tools Pro: Network Tools through Google Play, your payment, purchase, refund, and licensing information is handled by Google Play according to Google’s own policies. We do not receive your full payment card details from Google Play.

DNS Lookup and Public DNS Resolvers

The DNS Lookup feature may send the domain name you enter to a public DNS resolver, such as Cloudflare or Google, to retrieve DNS records. The app does not intentionally upload DNS lookup results to our own server.

Local Network Scan and Network Tools

Ping Tools Pro: Network Tools includes network utility features such as ping, local network scan, traceroute, DNS lookup, speed test, and monitoring. These features may process technical network information on your device, including IP addresses, hostnames, gateway information, response time, packet loss, and connection status. This information is used to display network test results inside the app.

Local Device Storage

Ping Tools Pro: Network Tools stores app data locally on your device using on-device storage technologies such as preferences and a local database. This may include:

• Ping history
• Favorites
• Saved monitors
• Recent hosts
• Monitor status snapshots and monitor timeline history
• Notification quiet-hours preferences
• App settings and tool preferences

This locally stored data is not intentionally uploaded to our servers by the app.

Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party platform or analytics services that can collect limited technical information such as device information, app interactions, crash data, diagnostics, and performance information according to their own privacy policies.

When you start live monitoring, the app may run a foreground service so monitoring can continue while the app is not in the foreground. This is used only for the monitoring functionality you explicitly start.

Sharing

The app may include optional share features for ping, monitor, or network reports. Information is shared only when you choose to use a system share action.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. The app may share limited technical, diagnostic, analytics, or platform-related information with third-party providers only as needed for app functionality, diagnostics, analytics, purchase/licensing verification, or platform services offered by those providers.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you remove it. You can delete app data by:

• Clearing app storage from your Android device settings, or
• Uninstalling the app.

This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
